Gazprom Export says to keep contesting court decision on Poland
MOSCOW, Jun 16 (PRIME) -- Gazprom Export will continue to contest a court decision to change gas pricing although it signed an addendum to a contract with Poland's PGNiG to reflect the order, an official told reporters on Tuesday.
"Gazprom and Gazprom Export continue to contest the decision of the arbitration tribunal to revise the price of the sales contract with the Republic of Poland starting from 2014 in accordance with the established proceedings," the official said.
Gazprom Export and PGNiG are in negotiations on revision of the gas price starting from 2017 and the Russian company sees reasons to expect its growth, the official said.
On Monday, PGNiG said that it had signed an additional agreement to a gas contract with Gazprom and expects that Russia will return U.S. $1.5 billion of overpayment in July.
